What is the advantage of using Inverness Nose piercing system?
The nose rings/studs used in the Inverness nose piercing system are completely sterile or infection free, safe and hypoallergenic (less prone to allergies). The Inverness USA claims that the product is completely free from Nickel, a metal which mostly leads to allergies. The material used is an alloy which is a patent of this firm. Hence, the chances of infections and allergic reactions are very rare.
What nose rings/studs are used for nose piercing?
The nose rings/studs used for nose piercing are available from Inverness, USA. Nose rings/studs are completely sterile and hypoallergenic. The nose rings/studs are available in pre-sealed cartridges. The nose rings/studs are pre-sterilized to avoid the chances of any infection.
How is a Nose Piercing performed?
The Inverness system safely and quickly pierces the nose in 3 EASY STEPS using a gentle, hand-pressured instrument (also called as GUN). The gun, which is used for nose piercing, is single use and disposable. The site for nose piercing is marked by the parents as per their preference. The cartridge with the nose ring/studs is loaded onto the GUN. Using the GUN with the loaded cartridge the nose is pierced. There is no needle used for nose piercing, the end of the nose ring/studs is designed to pierce the nose.

Can we use our own nose rings for piercing?
We can only use the nose rings/studs from Inverness as they are the only ones which would fit into the GUN. The nose rings/studs can be changed after 4 to 6 weeks once the track appears to be mature.
What precautions need to be taken after a Nose piercing?
It is extremely important to maintain good hygiene and cleanliness after the nose piercing has been done. This reduces the chances of infections. We would also usually advise to put on antiseptic lotion, twice a day and a short course of antibiotics to reduce the risk of infection further.
